The best part of your session is seeing your images come to life! Most sessions are ready within 2 weeks of your shoot. From there, they’re all yours to share, print, and display in your home. I’d also be thrilled to design a custom album for you if you’d like!

Easy-As-Pie Pricing
Once I know what kind of session you’re dreaming of, I’ll share my pricing—it’s all-inclusive, with no hidden fees or surprises. When you choose a collection, you get all the images, because every photo tells a piece of your story. There’s no minimum print order and no in-person sales appointments. Plus, your investment comes with printing rights, so these memories are yours to enjoy however you like!

Location Time!
I have a little black book of secret spots. I spend lots of time exploring the Cumberland Plateau, discovering private locations where you and your family can truly feel like the space is all yours. I make sure to get permission to photograph in each spot, so you can relax, be yourselves, and enjoy the moment without any distractions. If you don’t already have a favorite location in mind, this is when I share my collection of hidden gems with you and let you pick the one that feels perfect!

FAQ
How long will my session last?
Most sessions last around 30 minutes, but I never set a timer. We will shoot until it feels like we have captured what we need or until your kids / animals are kaput. I would expect to spend at least 30 minutes together and as much as 60-90 minutes depending on the sunset and your family’s temperament.
How should we dress for our family session?
I love helping my clients choose their outfits — it’s like piecing together a puzzle! If you’re extra stumped, you’re welcome to send me photos of potential combos so that I can give you personalized guidance.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Believe it or not, almost everyone says this before their session—but it never ends up being true! I love guiding my clients through the process and have plenty of little tricks to make you look and feel fabulous. When you’re having fun, your true beauty shines through in ways you never imagined. I promise! 🙂
Can I print my photos?
This is something I pride myself in, I will never require print minimums or orders. I am happy to direct you to a commercial lab I like. You can print your images at a place that works for you!
How many pictures will we receive?
Every session is unique, so I can’t promise an exact number of images—but I always work hard to deliver as many as possible. Most clients receive 50–100 photos. The best advice? Just be yourself. To truly capture the magic, embrace the in-between moments with your little ones—play, hug, kiss, and love on them. Touch and talk to your pets. Focus less on the camera and more on your family, and the rest will naturally fall into place!
What happens if the weather is bad?
To achieve the vibrant, colorful look that Running on Faith is known for, sessions ideally take place on an overcast day. Sunny days can still be beautiful, often creating soft, even lighting for your photos. If it’s sunny but you’d prefer overcast, we may offer a reschedule at no extra cost, depending on availability. In the case of extreme weather—like heavy rain, extreme heat or cold, or other natural events—Running on Faith will reach out to find a new date that works for everyone.
Do you offer mini sessions?
On occasion, yes! Mini sessions are seasonal and take place on specific days/times only. Mini sessions are great for holiday season but do not offer the same experience as a full session.
